Planning the Perfect Holiday Getaway in Austria and The Czech Republic
Happy 2017 everyone! I know I've been a little MIA as of late but this is because I was away on vacation for the holidays and have just now gotten back and uploaded all my photos. I can't wait to share bits and pieces of it all with you! So let's started yes?
What did I do and where did I go?
This December we decided to travel to Austria and The Czech Republic for Christmas and New Years. We spent Christmas in Salzburg, a few days in Vienna and then ended our trip in Prague for New Year's Eve.
How was it?
I LOVED IT! It was the perfect vacation with just the right amount of relaxation, adventure, and city life. I loved it so much, I intend on sharing in great detail the trip I had in all three cities with everyone. My next few blog posts will cover everything I ate, saw and did. So that you can also plan the perfect holiday getaway to Austria and The Czech Republic if you ever want to venture out that way. Let's kick off this blog post with my first entry to my holiday getaway recap.
Dec 22, 2016 Leaving SF to SALZBURG
Just a quick note about the new Lufthansa Double Decker Aircrafts. They are exceptional! I'm personally a huge fan of Asian Airlines and their business class. All US based airlines have the worst business class ever and not a lot of the European Ones are great either. But the newly revamped Lufthansa Aircraft was spacious, had great service, and they were all lay flats which is key. Never get business class that doesn't have lay flat. So if you plan on flying to Europe, I highly recommend Lufthansa.
You'll see in this photo that there are cubby holes on the side that is quite large and deep. You can place your bag or jacket in there so that you don't need to reach over head for items. Super convenient. Ok enough of this, let's get to Salzburg already. Stay tuned for the next post on a White Christmas in Salzburg at the beautiful Schloss Fuschl Resort and Spa and all the Christmas Market Activities.
